The history of CLIK
CLIK: an acronym for Computer Leaders and Innovators Krew was formerly known as the "Apple Club". The club came from the new start at St. Pius X - St. Matthias Academy vision of building a 21st century school in 2013. After 35 brand new iMacs were added, the next thing was to learn how to use the machines. Faculty member Ms. Nicdao, who came from working at the Third Street Promenande Apple Store shared her knowledge with students and faculty who were willing to learn something new. The club met on Thursdays in the library and learned how to create iMovies. In January of 2014, the club took a trip to Ms. Nicdao's former workplace and learned how to make movies on iPads. Afterwards, they enjoyed the Santa Monica scenery and restraurants. Today, CLIK has six officers and thirty members.
